Is it a Crime to Speak the Truth?

The Truth About Hate Crimes

Whether you believe it or not and whether you are ready to hear it or not, you need to know something about hate crimes.  The day is quickly approaching when it will be illegal for any Christian to speak against sin.  Yes, my dear ones, we are on the edge just about to fall headlong into the pits of Sodom and Gomorrah.

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me."  John 15:18-21

Preparations are being made for this world to receive and embrace the Antichrist.  I know some of you will call me "old fashioned", "outdated" and a few other terms but the plain facts are before us.  Jesus told us these times would come and friend, they are here now, in 2007!

"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another."   Matthew 24:9-10

Christians are being vilified all in the name of "peace and love".   Hate crimes legislation is being proposed and drafted even as I write this message.  It is only a matter of time before Christian speech is considered a hate crime, especially when that speech concerns "sensitive" topics (like sin).

When that day comes, and speech against things such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, and other abominations becomes illegal, you will begin to see persecution of the church.  This is exactly what happened in Nazi Germany with the Jewish people and it is what is happening today with the church.  Who is there that will come to the aid of America?   Unfortunately, there are none to come.  The hate crimes legislation is already being passed in the UK and in Australia, and our Legislature is currently considering several bills, not only at State Levels, but also at the Federal Level.

There are 4 notable steps that occurred in Nazi Germany that led to the killing and persecution of millions of Jews:

  1. Identification:   The Jews were identified as Jews and classed as such, thus making them a separate "culture" within a culture.

  2. Marginalization:  The Jews were classified as being "different", as lacking "desirable traits", as "deviating from acceptable norms" and were thus ostracized as undesirable people.

  3. Criminalization:  The previously legal acts and behaviors by the Jewish community (religious celebrations, speech, and separation) were subsequently classified as "criminal" behavior and were adjudged to be such by the ruling judicial and legislative processes of the day.  This transformed behavior into crimes and made law abiding citizens into criminals.

  4. Persecution:   As a "natural" result of classifying religious speech and behavior as criminal, persecution first came in the form of fines and judicial levies but gradually led to arrest, conviction as criminals and finally torture and death.

I realize many of you do not believe this could ever happen in the United States of America:  the once proud champion of democracy and freedom, but it IS happening and it is happening NOW!  How long will we turn a blind eye?

Let me cover some background on the hate crimes legislation that has led us to the point where being a Christian will someday be considered a crime.
